2. Prepare the area

Apply a topical anesthetic cream to reduce discomfort during the process.
3. Apply product

Using a very fine needle, hyaluronic acid is injected into the most superficial layers, creating a structure that increases lip hydration.

Care

Before the treatment

1. Come with a clean, makeup-free face, it will save us both time and ensure no residue is left.

2. Avoid alcoholic beverages the night before your treatment. It can make your skin more susceptible to bruising.

3. We do not recommend this treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

After the treatment

1. Avoid exercise for 24 hours after treatment. And facials are prohibited for at least 2 weeks.

2. It's important to stay hydrated! Make sure you drink plenty of water after your treatment.

3. Avoid alcohol and salty foods, as they can contribute to swelling.

Who can inject hyaluronic acid?

In Spain, only doctors and dentists – the latter for the perioral area – are legally authorized to administer these treatments.

Is getting hyaluronic acid injections painful?

We use a topical anesthetic before the injections to help minimize any discomfort during the treatment. Even so, it is not a painful procedure.

Can I bruise after getting hyaluronic acid treatment?

Bruising and swelling may occur after the hyaluronic acid injection in the treated area of the face. Bruising or swelling may take 1 to 2 weeks to disappear.

Can I get hyaluronic acid treatment while pregnant?

Although there is no scientific evidence of possible side effects after hyaluronic acid treatment during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, we recommend avoiding dermal filler treatments during both periods.
