We give you 13 tips you should know before and after your treatment for a top-notch result :))
What should I wear? Should I go on an empty stomach? Will I be able to live normally after leaving? Getting a treatment is exciting, but it can also cause stress due to those little details that are in our hands. Don't worry, here are 13 tips to make your treatment a success.
PRE
Goal: relax

Neither too much nor too little
Eat something light but come with strength. Just like you would on a normal day, eat and hydrate well. There's no need to feast as if it were Christmas, but don't come on an empty stomach either! The goal is to avoid drops in blood sugar or blood pressure.
Raw, like tuna
Come with a clean, unmade-up face; it will save time for both of us and ensure that no residue is left.
Attention motor mamas and motor papas!
As cool as it may be, do not come by motorcycle or scooter to the clinic. To respect the healing process of your skin, you will not be able to wear the helmet when you leave.
Be careful with what we take
For optimal results, avoid alcohol 1 to 2 days before the treatment. Medications like aspirin or ibuprofen in the days prior can sometimes increase the likelihood of bruising later. If you have questions, consult your doctor.
Baby on board?
Avoid attending if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Although there are currently no studies proving that this process is dangerous for babies, at Bloome we prefer to be cautious and avoid any distress.
If you have questions, consult your personal doctor, who knows you best, or contact us. Always thinking of what’s best for you and your baby!

POST
UV rays, our enemy
Avoid sun exposure or UV lamps as it can increase the risk of inflammation and redness in the treated area. Additionally, heat can cause the product to distribute differently. Grab an umbrella or parasol, but protect yourself, friend!

Hands off
Not touching the area will ensure a uniform result. Rubbing, scratching, or pressing the treated area in the 24 hours following the treatment could jeopardize the results. If your guilty pleasure is popping pimples, this one is for you.
Cheat day
After the treatment, your skin needs to relax, without strenuous exercise or gym for 24 hours. For one day, it’s no big deal! It’s also not advisable to go to the sauna or pool 24 hours after treatments with neuromodulators, or 48 hours after hyaluronic acid, as heat can alter the result. Better not to take risks!
Face up and vertical
Avoid lying down for at least 4 hours after the treatment, and do not engage in activities like massages where you have to be face down for an extended period, up to 24 hours later. We love a good decontracting massage, but it can always go to your feet.
EXTRA
We have as many treatments as tips, so here are some more specific ones:

Treatments for skin quality
Prior to mesotherapy and peeling treatments, you should avoid exfoliating the skin, waxing, laser hair removal, and depilatory creams 1 week before the treatment. After these skin health care treatments, it is also essential to avoid intensive sun exposure for 2 weeks, as well as tanning products and self-tanners, UV sessions… After leaving the clinic, we advise you to keep your face clean for the next 4 hours, and not to use retinol or any exfoliating product until the peeling has finished.
Treatments with neuromodulators
The main advice is to keep the area free of pressure. That is, do not lie down for a few hours, much less on your side, and do not touch the area. Also avoid facial treatments and massages for two weeks after your visit to the clinic. Skipping these tips could displace the product and cause an undesired effect or irregular results.

Treatments with hyaluronic acid
For this type of treatment, we recommend taking arnica, bromelain, or paracetamol before the treatment to help reduce swelling and bruising after the treatment. It is better to avoid anti-inflammatory medications (aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen…) for a week before the treatment to help reduce bruises. If you take them regularly and cannot do without them, you should always consult your personal doctor or us beforehand. Every case is particular!
Another option is, for example, arnica gel, which will help reduce bruises. Use it 30 minutes after the treatment, applying it gently to the skin. You can also use ice or cold compresses once 8 hours have passed after the treatment, always wrapping them with some cloth to avoid direct contact with the skin. Be careful with the ice, as it burns!
During the recovery period, we also recommend that you avoid alcohol and salty foods, which contribute to swelling.
